Questions people ask.
Do I need a card for the free trial?
No. The trial lasts 14 days and every feature of the plan you pick is switched on. AI credits and marketing emails start smaller during the trial (20 AI credits and 50 marketing emails) and rise to your plan's allowance when you choose it. We only ask for a card if you decide to keep going.
Do you charge per order or take a cut of sales?
No. You pay one flat monthly or yearly price. Order limits are soft: when you reach 90% of your plan's limit we email you and suggest the next plan. We never send a bill for extra orders.
Can I cancel online?
Yes. Cancel at any time from the Billing page inside the app, in a few clicks, without calling anyone. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. We remind you before a trial turns into a paid plan and before a yearly plan renews.
If you forget to cancel, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of a trial turning into a paid plan or of a yearly renewal. See refunds and cancellation.
How does VAT work?
Prices on this page exclude VAT and sales tax. We add tax where the law requires it, based on where your business is. Businesses with a valid VAT number in the UK or the EU are usually invoiced without VAT under the reverse charge. Your invoice shows the tax clearly.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, up or down, at any time from the Billing page. The price difference is worked out for you for the rest of the period. If you move down, features outside the new plan are hidden but your data stays.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, on every plan, at any time. Export orders, products, stock, customers and the books as spreadsheets, or take a full encrypted backup. After you cancel you can still sign in to export for 30 days.
Will my price go up?
If we change our prices, you keep the price you pay now for at least 12 months after the change. We tell you by email before anything changes. We will not restructure your plan behind your back.
Which currencies can I pay in?
Pounds, euros or US dollars. Pick one when you sign up. Prices in each currency are set by us, not converted daily, so they do not move with exchange rates.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you have not picked a paid plan, the workspace pauses. You can still sign in to choose a plan or export your data. Nothing is deleted straight away.
How do I get help?
Use the Ask us button in the bottom-right corner of any page, here or inside the app. It searches the help as you type; if that does not answer it, send us a message from the same panel and we reply by email, usually within one working day. When one of us is at the desk, the same button says "Chat with us now" and we answer there and then.

About these numbers. List prices seen in October 2026 on each vendor's pricing page, for the tier a seller with 500 to 1,000 orders a month would usually need. Prices change and your tier may differ. Currencies are converted at about £1 = €1.15 = $1.30. Merchvio does not buy shipping labels, so keep your shipping tool.
